EMCC’s Associate Degree Nursing Program at East Mississippi Community College prepares students for careers as registered nurses through traditional and LPN-to-RN pathways, combining classroom instruction, clinical training, and hands-on experience on our Golden Triangle and Scooba campuses. The program offers competitive admission, strong NCLEX pass rates, and accredited training designed to prepare graduates for successful entry into the healthcare field.
EMCC’s Practical Nursing Program prepares students for careers as licensed practical nurses through a 12-month program that combines classroom instruction, hands-on labs, and clinical experience on the Golden Triangle and Scooba campuses. Graduates earn a Practical Nursing certificate and are prepared to sit for the NCLEX-PN licensure exam, with strong job placement and licensure pass rates.
EMCC’s Emergency Medical Services–Basic (EMT) program prepares students for careers in emergency medicine through classroom instruction and clinical experience aligned with National EMS Education Standards. Offered on the Golden Triangle campus, the program equips graduates to take the National Registry Examination and begin careers as certified EMTs providing pre-hospital emergency care.
EMCC’s Surgical Technology program prepares students to become vital members of the operating room team through hands-on training, classroom instruction, and clinical experience in a 12-month Associate of Applied Science degree program. Offered at the Golden Triangle campus, the program equips graduates with the skills and certification preparation needed for careers as surgical technologists and other surgical support professionals.
